My name is James Gatensby, but call me Bart.
I began my career in Alberta back in 2001. After finishing my apprenticeship in plumbing and gas fitting I travelled to Europe to further my education. While there I ran a small plumbing company in Ireland and the UK between 2007 and 2020. Now back in Canada and based in Buckhorn Ontario I’m looking forward to lending my skills and expertise to local projects.

From emergency repairs to complete home plumbing and heating installation, The Laughing Heart Plumbing Company caters to all aspects of plumbing and heating needs for Buckhorn and the surrounding community. Fully licensed and insured, I offer a service that is punctual, professional and honest. All works are guaranteed so you have peace of mind the job is done right.
On top of my standard plumbing and heating services I also undertake tiling and carpentry work if your job requires. I also design and build custom furniture and fixtures in copper, steel and wood.
